It's weird how somebody mentions they got a bandwidth upgrade and all of a sudden your own connection gets shot to hell. I think it may be time to put my router out to pasture. It's only 4, maybe 5 years old now. Time to modernize! I think it's the curse of IT people that you figure out how to workaround stuff to the point where you get overly content. I'm not much of a gamer, so it never really came up till now. Maybe I should just call up Sprint, skip a few steps and have a WiMax cell installed on my roof. Think the neighbors would mind? hehe.

This was given to me by a very special girl who greeted me at her house in February. I am afraid now that I have hurt her feelings tremendously and won't get the chance to see her smiling face ever again, let alone return the favor of welcoming her, her mom and her little brother into my home. I broke a promise, you see. I really hope she can learn to forgive me. I am going to work really hard at making this right. Wish me luck everybody!

What a day! Lots to do at work then I rushed across town to the field. H started soccer practice tonight. They have named themselves the Fire Snakes this year, mostly because the coach said she was afraid of snakes and kids enjoy irony. It's hard to believe this is H's forth season. I watched her set a pick for someone today, which is amazing considering she used to cringe when the ball came near her. I am so proud of that girl. Can't wait until the field gets muddy again so they can have a blast!
