Well, it’s the end of an era. After years of sticking to my guns regarding comments being turned on, I’ve come to the conclusion that no one comments anymore. There was a time when I even mocked the news sites for turning off comments, citing free speech concerns. A harsh truth has come about: There are no human comments coming into my page. All I am doing now is cleaning up after someone’s botnet somewhere in Russia. Oh, the things I will do with the free time I have just found!
